San Diego County officials have announced two upcoming virtual community sessions for the public regarding the County's Housing Blueprint plan. The plan, which focuses on building more housing, creating affordable housing, and promoting climate-friendly communities, is set to be considered by County supervisors this summer.

According to the County News Center, the virtual sessions aim to provide information about the Housing Blueprint process and gather feedback from the public to improve the plan. One session will be held in the afternoon and another in the evening to accommodate different schedules.

County officials are eager to receive input from the community, with the County having previously organized workshops and meetings to engage with the public on the topic. The County encourages individuals to register for the community sessions on the County's Engage San Diego County Housing Blueprint webpage.

In a statement, the County emphasized the importance of including diverse perspectives in the planning process, stating, "We want to seek and include as much input and ideas from the public as they can get."

The County has provided a Zoom link for the upcoming sessions and directed individuals to visit the Engage San Diego County webpage for more information on the Housing Blueprint plan and other County projects.
